    INTERNET EXPLORER 7
  1. From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options... .
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click Custom Level... .
  4. Scroll to the "Scripting" section of the list. Click Disable or Enable.
  5. Close and restart your browser.

    INTERNET EXPLORER 6 AND EARLIER (although, using a browser older than Internet Explorer 6 is not recommended)
  1. From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options... .
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. In versions 5.x and 6, click Custom Level... . In version 4.x, click Custom and then Settings:
  4. JavaScript: Scroll to the "Active scripting" section of the list. (In version 6, this is under "Scripting".) Click Disable or Enable.
  5. Close and restart your browser.
    FIREFOX
  1. From the Tools menu, choose Options
  2. Click the Content Tab
  3. Click the Checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript"

  3. Make sure the cookies slider is set to nothing higher than "Medium High"
  4. Close and restart your browser.

  1. From the Tools menu, choose Options
  2. Click the Privacy Tab
  3. Click the Checkbox next to "Accept cookies from sites"
  4. Close and restart your browser.

How do I change my profile picture or upload new pictures?

All picture management is performed by first clicking the orange camera on your user menu which is located at the top of your page after you have first logged in to the site.



TO UPLOAD NEW PICTURES

  1. All pictures must be uploaded to a Picture Album, so first select an album in which to upload your picture. You may create as many new albums as you wish.
  2. After clicking on your desired Picture Album, click the "Browse" button located at the top right of the resulting page.
  3. Navigate to and select the desired picture on your computer.
  4. Add a caption to your picture if you want (this can be done later as well).
  5. Click the red "Upload" button. Your new picture has been added to the album.

TO EDIT YOUR EXISTING PICTURES

  1. Click the orange camera on your user menu which is located at the top of your page after you have first logged in to the site.
  2. Select an album. You may create new albums at any time; there is no limit to the number of albums you may create.
  3. If you have any pictures in that album, you'll notice a control box located to the right of each picture. This control box lets you manage your picture in 4 ways.
    1. Make Profile - this sets the designated picture as your profile picture.
    2. Delete - this permanently removes the designated picture from the album.
    3. Edit Caption - this changes the current picture caption to the caption you have entered in the box located directly beneath the picture.
    4. Move to Selected Album - this moves the picture to the album you have designated in the drop-down menu located beneath the picture.
  4. Select the action you wish to take for only 1 picture at a time. You cannot update more than one picture at a time.
  5. If you wish to change the caption or move the picture to a different album, you must designate a new caption or album below the picture before clicking "Update"
  6. Click the red "Update" button, and your picture will be edited according to the action you selected.

 

How do I send a message to someone in the community?

TO SEND A NEW MESSAGE

  1. First select your addressee by navigating to their profile.
  2. Underneath your addressee's profile picture, you will see a purple envelope between the words "Send Message".
  3. Click the purple envelope, and you will be directed to a page where you can compose a new message to that individual.
